I would LOVE to have a week at the beach this year. Last time I went, I got deathly ill with what we'd discover later was an early "intro to the vid". lol. I felt horrible for ruining hubby's trip. We had a Hilton stay thingy where they try to sell you a room. lol. It was a great room, or so he said. I was too dead to notice much except their uncomfortable couch. I let him have the bed so I wouldn't keep him up coughing all night. Poor dude. I think we need a re-do. lol

Not like Hawaii surfing waves big, but in the morning and before storms...they can get pretty wild. I've seen mostly body boarding peeps, but there are some surfing around the piers.

You have so many goodies oh my goodness! I’ve not seen this show but maybe I will check it out. I think you said it may be similar to “Pride and Prejudice” I always liked that movie. It's such a guilty pleasure show, but when I discovered this was Penelope's season...I was onboard! It's funny because I'm so far behind the times since they take 2 years between seasons. It was a happy accident when I was searching for my tried and true Jane Austen flick...to discover the somewhat spicier (lol) Bridgerton. I'm now almost done reading another book from the series where I had to go backwards from Colin and Penelope in book 4. I think I'll be reading Benedict's love story in book 3, which the show skipped, despite all the gratuitous quandaries that were unnecessary to show during Polin's season in the show. lol. I'm still mad. lol. Sparkle on, gal!

Oh wow! What a great compliment, but something tells me an East TN gal trying to be British wouldn't fly well. lol. I channeled my inner Julie Andrews/ Lady Whistledown though. So fun to try that. I'm so happy you got Netflix and it makes me giggle to think of the fun you'll have watching the 3 seasons. I will have to admit, I'm a little deflated after finishing that last 3 episodes after work last night. I felt like they really rushed alot of storylines which is apparently going to take them another 2 years filming to flesh out for season 4. So, Penelope and Colin's season felt fast and furious with us missing the whole time of her finding out she was pregnant after they wed and them getting past all the anxiety of his discovery that she's LW. So...there's that. Still though, the excitement leading up to the release of the final 4 episodes was a giddy experience when I most needed some distraction from life. lol. Enjoy!!!
